BEFORE THE STORM | Subcutaneous

3poetic5me.  Rhyming is very free.  Get on my level... person called Neville.

I'm a poetry prodigy.  I could prose with the pros.

PUNOGRAPHY:
1. A "junkyard" is a place designated for dumping trash.  A "junky" is someone who abuses drugs regularly.  Chloe sees the needle in the junkyard and assumes that someone used it for drugs while they were in the junkyard, so she calls the "junkyard" a "junky-yard", changing the word only slightly.  
2. "Subcutaneous" is the title of this cartoon.  It means "under the skin", and is usually used in medical directions for injections (example: "Inject 1ml subcutaneously once daily").  By the super-dramatic weeping in this comic, we can also assume that something more psychological is "getting under Chloe's skin", which means that something is bothering her.  So "subcutaneous" is referencing the function of syringes (like the one in the comic) as well as Chloe's emotional state.  "How did Tom get this clever?" you may be asking yourself, now that my genius is visible in its unparalleled splendor.  There are some days when I must ask myself the same thing, for even my own genius cannot comprehend its magnitude.
